Where has the time gone? It seems like 2014 flew by! I'm linking up with Aileen Miracle from Mrs. Miracle's Music Room to bring you my 2015 New Years Resolutions!
A month or so ago I decided to get a Jawbone UP band. I absolutely love it. The band tracks my steps, sleeping, and I can even log my food. About three years ago, I decided I needed to change to a healthier lifestyle. Through healthy eating and some exercise, I lost about 30 lbs and have successfully kept it off. I am ready to take my fitness to the next level by taking 10,000 steps or more every day.
I want to spend more time reading blogs, magazines(I have a whole unread stack of NAfME ones), and books. I plan to take about 10-15 minutes at the end of every day to do a bit of reading.
I am lucky to have our building iPad set stored in my classroom. With the cart just sitting there most of the time, I would really like to make more use of it. I hope to integrate iPads at least 3-4 times this quarter. I have been averaging about 1-2 iPad integrated classes per quarter so far.
I had kept my blog goal of 1 post per week until this month. December was such a busy month with concerts, travel, and holidays. I plan to stick to my one post per week and if I miss a week, I plan to double down in the next one. I also plan to put out something new on TpT every two weeks so look out for more color by note sheets, exit slips, and even a new wild west themed card game!
Just for Me
When was the last time you played a board game? For me, it was for-ev-er ago. I used to play them all of the time with my family growing up. I want to get back into the habit of having some sort of board game night every few weeks. What fun it will be!
